Some senior sessions feel like they were meant to happen in a certain place, and Alexis’ session at Yellow Racket Records was exactly that. One of my favorite things about senior photography is creating sessions that reflect who someone really is, and for Alexis, music is an important part of her life.

There’s something special about photographing seniors in a place that means something to them. Instead of posing in a location that simply looks pretty, we were able to capture images that felt personal and authentic.

As we moved through the shop, Alexis browsed through albums, reminiscing on her favorite and incorporating them into her pictures. Senior photos should be more than just pictures — they should preserve a season of life and the things that matter most right now.

Yellow Racket Records brought such a fun and unique atmosphere to this session. The textures, colors, and personality of the space created the perfect backdrop while still allowing Alexis to shine. It was a reminder that the best senior sessions happen when they’re built around who you are.
